I have been wearing my Hillmasters for around 9 months now, they are easy to keep clean, easy to maintain and just get more and more comfy every time I put them on. I guess I'll have to look into getting them resoled before winter arrives. Can this be done with Brasher?

I have been wearing the Brasher superlight boots on a daily basis for the last 6 months. They are performing well and are comfortable to wear for long periods. I highly reccomend Brasher boots and will certaily buy another pair when these wear out.

Andy's problem on wet rock could be down to a couple of things or a combination of both? Wet rock can often develop a film of very slippy algea so carefull foot placement is always recomended in wet conditions. Sometimes the soles of boots or shoes can get contaminated - diesel is the worst and can be picked up from roads, garage forecourts, farms, etc. A simple solution is often to scrub the soles with a strong solution of washing up liquid and hot water, worth repeating than allowing to dry. If it is a combination of both the problem will be very apparent - cleaning rocks is not a simple solution but clean the sole and adopt the good practice of careful foot placement on any wet surface as friction will be reduced. Happy walking.

One for Carol - if you are having a fit problem it is always worth going back to your retailer, explaining the situation and asking them to check the fit for length. It can sometimes be helped by ensureing the boots are laced up snuggly from the toe so that it prevent heal lift when walking - the usual cause of blister.

Hope that helps

Yes, I have to think about foot placement, my main problem is heel blisters! Inflexible sole drags on the heel. Desperately trying to wear them in!!
